Wildcats Fall to Trinity Christian

The Paden City Wildcats fell victim to a hot shooting Sophomore guard from Trinity Christian on Monday, February 17, in boys basketball action in Paden City. Austin Porta hit six shots from behind the arc on his way to 41 points and led his team to a 73-25 victory over the Wildcats. The Wildcats could not get their offense in gear and fell behind early 14-6 after the first period and 38-15 at the break. The second half was no different as Trinity increased their lead coasting to the victory. The Wildcats were led by Brayden Neff with nine points and Jessup Higgins with six. Skyler Wright would chip in with three points. The loss moves the Cats record to 3-15 with a long road trip scheduled for Saturday, February 22 to take on the Richwood Lumberjacks.
