Wildcats Fall to Titans

The Paden City Wildcats were in action on Saturday, Feb. 1 when they played host to the Gilmer County Titans in boys basketball action. The Wildcats fell behind early, trailing 23-8 after the first eight minutes and 29-14 at halftime before falling to the Titans by the final score of 65-26. The Wildcats were not able to get their big two scorers going against a tough Titan defense as Brayden Neff was held to only six points and Jessup Higgins ended with five points. Skyler Wright added six while Jake Billiter and Jack Nelson each had three points. The loss drops the Cats record to 2-10 with a rival game against Hundred scheduled for Monday night February 3.
