Elks Hoop Shoot participants.

The Sistersville Elks Lodge #333 held the annual Hoop Shoot Free Throw contest on Sunday, January 12 at the Middle School Gym at Tyler Consolidated. A total of over 15 kids participated in the competition in three age divisions; 8-9, 10-11 and 12-13. The 8-9 age group winner was Cole Canfield, the 10-11 age group winner was Kolten Reed and taking home top prize in the 12-13 division was Tyler Wright. Each group winner was presented with a special basketball provided by the Elks National Foundation. All three winners will now move on to regional competition on Saturday, January 18 at St Marys High School. Hoop Shoot organizers said the event was very successful and appreciated all those that attended and the volunteers that helped make it happen.
