PCHS Boys Basketball Pick Up First Win

The Paden City Wildcats picked up win number one with a 57-43 victory over Beallsville, Ohio on Saturday, December 21, 2024, in boys basketball action in Paden City.

The Wildcats and Blue Devils were tied after the first quarter 12-12 and the Cats led 29-24 at halftime. Both teams came out in the third quarter cold as Paden City outscored the Blue Devils 8-2 headed to the fourth quarter. The pace picked up in the fourth with the Wildcats increasing their lead scoring 22 points while holding Beallsville to 17. Brayden Neff led the Cats with 21 points, 10 rebounds and five steals. He was followed by Jessup Higgins with 11 points and Skyler Wright chipping in with 10. The Wildcats will now hit the road for a Holiday Tournament in Summersville, WV when they will tangle with Montcalm and Mt Hope Christian Academy on December 30 and 31, 2024.
