The Lady Wildcats ended their season with a sectional loss to Weirton Madonna on Saturday February 25 by the score of 44-30. McKenzie Thomas in search of 1000 points for her career came up just short needing 30 points but only manged 11 to lead the Lady Cats. Although McKenzie did not hit the magic number her stellar career finished with 981 points. Other Wildcats scoring on the night were Jocelyn Sawinski with seven, Kim Burch with six and Lexi Mathis with five.

The final record of 7-16 was not what they had hoped for but they continued to get better as the season went on. “I feel we had a decent season, ended with 7 wins. We improved a lot from the beginning to end. It was a tough way to end with the loss to Madonna. Overall I am proud of all girls and the teams effort,” said Head Coach Josh Fulks.
