Visiting Hundred’s Ashlyn Peters had a field day on Monday night, February 13, in Clarksburg, as she hit for a game high, career high and possibly a school record 38 points as the Lady Hornets defeated Notre Dame 47-23 to up their record to 12-9 on the season.

The Hornets jumped out to a 12-5 first quarter lead and never looked back in getting the win. Peters had 19 points in the first half, with all 14 of her team’s points in the second quarter. She scored 23 of the Hornets 25 second half points. Her production included four 3-pointers and 14-18 free throws. Leah Dean added four points and pulled down seven rebounds and blocked three shots. Aliyah Shreve hit a 3-pointer, and Kylie Morris added a basket. Areonna Zarco pulled down 14 rebounds and had two blocks and two steals.

Angelina Policano led the Fighting Irish with nine points, while Emily Besten had six, for the home team.

Hundred hit 13 shots from the floor, including five 3-pointers and went 14-19 from the free throw line.
