At the Pilots home game vs Magnolia on Tuesday night, January 23, River high school honored itás senior basketball players and cheerleaders for the 2022-23 season.

Making their way to center court with their parents were Wyatt Harlan, son of Mark and Janell Harlan of Sardis, Ohio. Brody Lollathin, son of Dan and Sabrina Lollathin of Clarington, Ty Long, son of Jamey and Tina Long of Sardis, Ohio, and River Thompson, son of Billy and Kristine Thompson of Sardis, Ohio. All of these players have been instrumental in the success of River athletics over their careers.

Representing the girls basketball program were Rylee Knight, daughter of Corey Knight and Jessica Amedro of Powhatan Point, Ohio. Gabby Kocher, daughter of Chad and Nicole Kocher of Powhatan Point, Ohio. Hannah Raper, daughter of Beth and Perry Raper of Sardis, Ohio, and Senior cheerleader, Cadence Stalder, daughter of Stanley and Jennifer Stalder of Sardis, Ohio.
