The Hornets picked up their second win of the season on Thursday night in Williamstown over Wood County Christian as they edged out a 41-38 victory over the Wildcats.

Leading the way fot the young Hornets was Colt Sandy who took game scoring honors with 13 points. Backing him was Brayden Bartrug who pitched in seven markers and Josiah Morgan who added five points. Jazon Huggins hit four points, while Trey Huggins, and Seth Michael each added three. Everett Johnson, Karter Parson and Jeffery Morris all ended with two points.

Wood County was led by Wise with nine, Dennitt with seven, Joseph with six, and Signeur with five.

The Hornets hit 15 shots from the floor and made 10-20 from the free throw line. The home team Wildcats hit 15 shots from the floor but only made 6-14 from the line.
