Jim Longwell Beats Daughter In Match Play Finale

Jim Longwell defeated his daughter, Jordan, to become the sixth different winner in as many weeks, 222-189 in the championship match. Longwell won $60, compliments of this week’s sponsor, LaRoche Tree Services.

Chuckie Fischerkeller was the two-game high qualifier with games of 202, 244 for a 446 total. Longwell defeated Dave Johnson 240-205 in one semifinal while Jordan edged Lloyd Cross 211-202 in the other semifinal.

Dave Johnson moved into the lead in the Points List race, while Fischerkeller (125), Ed Binni (120), and Gary Isner (120) round out the top four. The highest 24 on the list qualify for the 37th Annual Grande Finale, where the champion will win $1,000, based on entries. J.C.
