The Magnolia Blue Eagle Cross Country Team made its way to Malone University in Akron, Ohio to participate in the Malone High School Cross Country Invitational.

In the girls Division III 5K meet, Ariel Hostettler ran a 23:46.6 to pace the Lady Eagles with a 12th-place finish.

Mandi Theodoro placed 21st in a time of 25:44.2, while Sofia Herrick (26:05.7), Cedar Sands (26:05.7), Katie Ensinger (28:50.6), Kaitlyn Shanabarger (30:06.0) and Evan Dawson (31:07.8) finished with good times for the Eagles that helped them to a fifth place finish.

The Magnolia boys ran into a buzzsaw against St. Thomas who won going away. The best time for the Blue Eagle boys went to Logan Highley with a time of 22:07.6, good enough for 45th place. Other Blue Eagles in the race and their times were Archie Petin (23:58.2), Trenton Robinson (24:03.3), Michael Estep (24:49,1) and Daniel Goddard (25:11.1).
