By Staff | Sep 17, 2014

Kayla Hizer and Dean Frye placed third and 14th overall for Magnolia at the annual MHS Mudhole Invitational Cross Country Race Sept. 13 at the New Martinsville Marina.

Ariel Hostuttler paced the Magnolia girls, while first-year cross country runner Logan Highley paced the Blue Eagle boys’ team,

Holden Moore led the Hundred boys in their first-ever cross country meet, while Arissa Kline and Nathan Barker led their respective Paden City Elementary School teams.

“Our home meet was like a Norman Rockwell painting,” said Magnolia Head Cross Country Coach Bryan Ensinger. “A festive, bucolic setting where PRs were set and runners competed with dignity and pride.”
