The annual Paden City Labor Day Fun Run will be held on Monday, Sept. 1, this year.

This 5K race will be run throughout the town. Medals will be awarded to different age groups including: male, 10 and under, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over categories; and the same for female age divisions.

There will also be trophies awarded to top overall male and top overall female.

Trophies will be given to oldest male and oldest female and also a trophy for the participant who traveled the greatest distance. This event helps to support the track team at Paden City High School.

Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. on race day at Paden City High School, and the race will begin promptly at 8:30 am.

The first 100 participants will receive complimentary water bottles.

The registration fee for the race is $10.
