Jim Quinet Memorial

The fifth annual Jim Quinet 5K Memorial Run/Walk will be held at 8:30 a.m., July 27, beginning and ending in front of Quinet’s Court Restaurant, Main Street in New Martinsville, across from the Wetzel County Courthouse.

The early entry fee of $12 includes a t-shirt. Entry fee on race day is $15, with T-shirts available while supplies last. Registration on race will be from 7-8 a.m. with the race to follow at 8:30 a.m. Water will be made available midway in the race. At the finish line, there will be water, sport drinks, and snacks.

The race and all proceeds from it will support a scholarship fund in memory of the late Jim Quinet, owner of Quinet’s Court Restaurant, who was a standout Christian athlete and always carried a smile with him.

Entry forms are available at Quinet’s. Alternately, contact Matt Quinet at 303-904-2147 for further information or visit Quinet’s at 217 Main Street New Martinsville.
