Basketball Tournament Has Openings
North American Youth Sports has openings in a basketball tournament at Morgan/University high schools April 25-17.
There are openings in 10 age groups, five for boys and five for girls: 5-6th grade; 7th grade; 8th grade; 9-10 grade and 11-12 grade.
Fee is $115 per team for a minimum two games and awards will be given in each age bracket.

Marshall County Basketball Tournament On Tap
Applications are now available for the Marshall County Spring Girls’ Basketball Tournament that will be held near Wheeling on April 12-13. There will be separate tournaments for 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th grade girls and high school girls. Each team will be guaranteed at least three games. The entry fee is $135 for each team.

Hunters Ed Course To Be Offered
An Ohio Hunter Education Course will be held on Saturday and Sunday, April 5 and 6, at the Broken Timber Outdoor Education Center.
The Saturday session will be held from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and the Sunday session will meet from 1-4 p.m.
Included in the training will be basic gun safety, information about the different types of firearms and ammunition, archery, wildlife management, shooting, personal safety and survival, game care, and hunter responsibility. This course is open to the public.
The education center is located at the AGI plant site, Ohio Rt. 7, Hannibal. The class size is limited to 23. To register for the class, call 1-800-WILDLIFE.
