At the same time, Hachem congratulated Head Basketball Coach Dave Tallman “for doing so much to help this young athlete and the rest of the team to achieve their very best.”
Willhoite is one of only 984 high school players nationwide to be nominated. From that field, 24 male and 24 female athletes will be selected to be on this year’s all-american teams.
If chosen, he will represent MHS in a game to be played April 2 at the United Center in Chicago, to be televised by ESPN.
