Chapman Nominated For McDonald’s Honor

Nelson Hachem, owner of McDonald’s Restaurants in New Martinsville and St. Marys, presented a certificate to Magnolia High School’s Mallory Chapman on her nomination to the 2014 McDonald’s All-American High School Basketball Team.

Hachem also praised Head Girls’ Basketball Coach Mark Blair for his hard work in helping Chapman and other players “to achieve their very best.”

Chapman is one of 984 high school players nationwide to be nominated. From that field, 24 male and 24 female athletes will be selected to be on this year’s all-american teams.

If chosen, she will represent MHS in a game to be played April 2 at the United Center in Chicago, to be televised by ESPN.
