On April 26, CASA programs from Harrison, Marion, Monongalia, and Preston Counties will bring together a league of Superheroes for the Second Annual CASA Superhero 5K. The event will be held at beautiful East Marion Park in Fairmont.

“Every child needs a hero, but abused children need Superheroes” is the motto for the road race that urges participants to dress as a Superhero for the run.

Families, friends, students, professionals, and community and business leaders are encouraged to help make a difference in the lives of abused and neglected children through race participation. Corporations and organizations can also join the movement through event sponsorship. Activities will consist of a timed 5K, kids’ fun run, kids’ carnival, after-party, and fun for the whole family.
