Football Accolades Detailed

Accolades for area football teams are out. The Eagles’ Drew Keller and Cole Seckman earned First Team Offense All State honors in Class-A, while Kage Rhode earned his spot on the First Team Defense.
Others getting all-state recognized were Kyle Ritz of Magnolia and Jacob Highley of Tyler Consolidated, who were named to Second Team Defense. Making the list in Special Mention were Brandon Cross and Zach Heasley from Paden City and Eric Smith of Magnolia.
Jacob Brill of Magnolia, Luke Cooper of Paden City, Trey Streets of Valley, and Kordell Stewart and Troy Watson of Tyler Consolidated all made All-State Honorable Mention.
Earning First Team Mason-Dixon were Rocky Tennant of Hundred, Cross and Heasley from Paden City, and Streets and Kale Lloyd of Valley. Second Team Mason-Dixon included E.J. Villers and Joe Bradley of Hundred, Peyton Palmer and Luke Martin of Valley, and Cooper, Spencer Billings, and Kane Pyles of Paden City.
First Team honors in OVAC in Class-A were Tennant and Villers from Hundred; Cooper, Cross, and Heasley from Paden City and Lloyd and Streets from Valley.

Honorable Mention went to Bradley and Andrew King of Hundred and Dulaney, Palmer, and TC Long of Valley.
In OVAC Class-AA Bryce Cross and Brett Rosen earned First Team honors, while teammates Brok Cross and Jordan Sapp made honorable mention.
In OVAC Class-AAA Keller, Rohde, and Seckman made first team, as did Highley and Stewart of Tyler Consolidated.
Honorable Mention awards went to Brill, Ritz, and Smith from Magnolia, and Watson and Jordan Baker from Tyler Consolidated.
