Hornets Bow In Finale

The Hundred Hornets played right with Hannan for a half, but succumbed 46-0 Nov. 9 at Hannan for a 0-10 record for the season.

“The guys came out and played their hearts out, and never gave up,” said Hundred Head Coach Rex Rush. “We have had an unusual season with all the injuries sustained and, for a while, I didn’t know if we could finish out the season. But a few boys that never played the game and some others came out to keep the season going. It’s a testament to our kids at Hundred who really stepped up when needed.”

Steve Morris completed nine passes, five to Andrew King, three to Logan Kuhn and one to Shane Matthews, while Kuhn and Devin Copeland paced the Hornets with 50 yards rushing. King added 13 yards, while Shawn Derby netted positive yards on the ground.Defensively, Copeland and Matthews each recorded 10 tackles, while TJ Viller added seven, and Morris four tackles.
