Paden City resident Joe White took first place in the 242 pound Open Class with a 600 lb. bench press lift. He also won the Highest Bench and Best Lifter Awards at the East Coast Iron Bench Press Championship in Allenwood, Pa. on Sunday, Oct. 27.

In addition, Jessica Stewart, also of Paden City, took first place in the Women’s’ 165 pound Open Class with a 245 pound bench press lift and captured the Highest Women’s’ Bench of the meet Award.
