The West Virginia Power Baseball Team and the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network are teaming up for Sixth Annual Purple Power Night on Aug. 14.

On that night, the West Virginia Power will be hosting the Greensboro Grasshoppers in a 7:05 p.m. contest. Fans are encouraged to wear purple to the game in honor and memory of all those fighting pancreatic cancer.

During the evening, players will be donning purple uniforms and there will be purple bases. During the game, fans will have the opportunity to participate in a silent auction for the game jerseys. Tickets are $7 each with $3.50 supporting the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. Tickets may be purchased at www.wvpower.com with the code word PURPLE.
