John Miller defeated Jay Yeager 203-197 to win his second weekly match play event in three weeks, May 4 at Bruce Lanes.

The victory was worth $60, compliments of weekly sponsor J & T Paving, this week’s sponsor. Bill Pritsch was the two-game high qualifier with games of 217 and 256 for a 473 total.

Miller eliminated Ron O’Neil Jr. 225-171 in one semifinal, while Yeager ousted Mike Hall Sr. 215-209 in the other semi final.

Dave Johnson continues to lead the point list with 1,015 points, while O’Neil is second with 670 points. John Leek is third with 555 points, while Gary Isner is fourth with 470 points.

The top 24 on the point list qualify for the 35th annual Grand Finale, with the top eight bowlers each earning a first-round bye.
