Wildcats Beat East Richland Twice

The Paden City Wildcats scored 38 runs on 28 hits to pound East Richland 19-0 and 19-4 in a double-header sweep April 20 at East Richland.
Levi Meadows won game one from the mound with six strikeouts, while Craig Allen took the W in the night cap, striking out four.
At the dish, Meadows paced the Wildcat attack with four singles and two doubles, while plating four ‘Cat base runners. Luke Cooper followed with a triple and four singles, while bringing in six RBIs. Deven Price also plated six runs in the double header with a double and three singles.
In addition, Michael Wilcox plated four runs with three singles, while Isaac Hall belted a pair of RBI doubles. Craig Allen smacked two singles and plated three runs, while Zach Heasley cracked three runs on a bases-loaded double.
Tyler 1, Paden City 0
The Wildcats’ Cooper tossed a three-hitter while striking out 12 batters and walking three, but it wasn’t enough to get by Tyler Consolidated, who won 1-0 in Kidwell April 17.
Hall singled twice to pace the Wildcats at the plate.
Tyler 10, Paden City 2
In the second game, the ‘Cats held a 4-0 lead going into the bottom of the fifth. But the Silver Knights exploded for seven runs in the that frame and added three more in the sixth to gain a 10-2 victory.
Cooper lined a single and blasted a long home run, while knocking in a pair of teammates to pace Paden City at the dish. Heasley took the loss from the mound.
