‘Jacks Shutout In Opener

By Staff | Apr 3, 2013

The ‘Jacks’ Collin Bates smacked two singles, but it wasn’t enough as the Cameron Dragons won their home-opener 10-0 in a mercy-rule shortened game March 29 in Dragon Country.

Brandon Stoneking worked two innings to pick up the loss from the mound, striking out one and walking one. Teammates Albert McGuane and Pete Shaw came in relief, striking out three and walking three.

The Lumberjacks headed to Myrtle Beach during the Easter break and will play four games. They will be back in Pine Grove to host Clay-Battelle April 9 at 5:30 p.m.
