Sean Johnson defeated his dad, Dave, 220-169 to win this week’s Ohio Valley Match Play event. He won $60, compliments of Buddy Light Accounting, this week’s sponsor.

Sean Johnson edged Mike Durant 185-184 in one semifinal, while Dave Johnson eliminated Ron O’Neil Jr. 243-219 in the other semifinal.

Dave Johnson was also was the two-game high qualifier with games of 248, 225 and an eight handicap for a 478 total.

Dave Johnson now sits atop of the Point List with 915 points, while O’Neil (580), John Leek Jr. (545) and Gary Isner (345) round out the top four. The top 24 bowlers on the Point List qualify for the 35th Annual Ohio Valley Match Play Finale, with the top eight each earning a first-round bye.

Tournament sponsors are again Miller Lite, Capital Beverage and Buddy Light Accounting. The Grand Finale is set for May and features a $1,000 top prize based on entries
