Mother Son Bowling

Mothers and sons who are at least four years old are invited to join the New Martinsville Parks and Recreation Department for some EXTREME Glow Bowling on Saturday, March 23 from 6-8 p.m. at Bruce Bowling Lanes.

Bruce Lanes will provide music and bowling with their Extreme Glow black lights, fog, and spotlight effects.

The fee for the event is $17 per couple and $5 for each additional son. The fee includes two games of bowling with shoe rental, pizza and refreshments.

Space is limited, so register early. The registration fee is $27 per couple and $10 per additional son.

Competitive Spring Soccer Sign Ups

The New Martinsville Soccer Club is holding its Spring Competitive Soccer sign ups. Pending sufficient participation and coaching, teams will be formed for the following age groups: Under 10 Co-Ed; Under 12 Co-Ed; and Under 15 Co-Ed.

A child’s birth date must fall within the following dates to be eligible: Under 10, born between 8-1- 02 to 7-31-04); Under 12, born between 8-1-00 to 7-31-02); and Under 15, born between 8-1-97 to 7-31-00.

The number of players on teams is limited. The cost to register is $30 and an additional jersey fee is needed if a player is new.

The home games will be held at the New Martinsville Parks Marina Soccer Field. Space is limited. Deadline to sign up is March 22. Coaches and referees are needed.
