Kevin Lude – the 2011-12 defending champion — defeated Dave Johnson 258-196 to win his first weekly event of the year. Lude won $70, compliments of weekly sponsor Mason-Dixon Gaming.

Rick Truex was the two-game high qualifier with games of 190-257-40 handicap for a 487. Lude eliminated Mike Hall Sr. 227-184 in one semifinal, while Johnson ousted Steve Nixon Sr. 226-201 in the other semi.

Johnson continues to lead the Point List with 825 markers, while Ron O’Neil Jr. (535), John Leek (530), and Bill Pritsch (340) round out the top four bowlers. The top eight on the list earn a first-round bye. Miller Lite, Capitol Beverage, and Buddy Light Accounting continue to be the tournament’s major sponsors.
