The Blue Eagles’ Mallory Chapman finished with a double-double, 16 points and 13 rebounds, but it didn’t deter Ritchie County from claiming a 56-46 win in Lady Rebel territory last week.

Kiera Standiford hit 15 markers, while Audrey Gibb netted seven points that included a threeball. Cierra Fowler contributed a bonus bomb and a charity toss, while Abby Durig and Katie Blatt each recorded a deuce. Grace Berisford didn’t score, but she made six steals ad dished out three assists.

Magnolia opened its second season against Weirton Madonna Tuesday in the Region I Section I Sectionals at MHS, with the winner moving on. Results were unavailable by press time.
