The Magnolia Blue Eagle Wrestling Team split a triangular match, beating the host Shenandoah Zeps 36-12 and losing 40-27 to Barnesville Jan. 30.

In the match with Shenandoah, the Eagles’ Gage Deem (152 lbs.) and Jared Wright (195 lbs.) each laid to rest their Zep opponents with pins, while Doug Riter, Joseph Layman, Paden McConaughey, and Clarence Harlan each received forfeits.

In the match with Barnesville, Wright and McConaughey (145 lbs.) each recorded wins by pinfall, while Layman won a 3-2 decision and Harlan received a win by forfeit.
