The Hornets’ Kirk Shriver and Rusty Morris teamed for 40 points, but it wasn’t enough to get by the Clay-Battelle Cee-Bees, who went home with a 77-52 win Jan. 22 inside the Hornets Nest.

Shriver netted four baskets from beyond the arc, while Morris netted one from the same place. Morris also grabbed nine boards and dished out three assists to pace Hundred.

In addition, Chris Varner tallied a triple and a deuce, while Andrew King contributed three points/ Hunter Goddard and Holden Moore finished the Hornet scoring with each adding a deuce.

In the junior varsity game, it was all Clay-Battelle, winning 51 to 11. Courtland Armstrong led the Hundred offensive charge with a threeball, while Greg Jones, Holden Moore, Michael Myers, and Ethan Umstead each recorded a deuce.
