Johnson Three-Peats Weekly Match Play Championship

Dave Johnson made it three in a row with a 221-206 victory over Ron O’Neil Jr. to claim last week’s Ohio Valley weekly bowling championship. He won $50, compliments of Fahey Insurance, this week’s sponsor. Bill Pritsch was the two-game high qualifier with 247-269 games for a 516 total.

Johnson ousted Larry Henthorn 243-205 in one semifinal, while O’Neil eliminated John Leek 248-214 in the other semifinal. Johnson stretched his Point List lead to 275 over Dave Hull and O’Neil to 180 points.

Tournament sponsors are again Miller Lite, Capital Beverage and Buddy Light Accounting. The Grand Finale is set for May, 2013, and features a $1,000 top prize based on entries
