Weirton Madonna’s golf team swept past the OVAC Class-A field with a convincing 49-point victory over runnerup Conotton Valley to win the OVAC Class-A Title for the fourth straight year.
The Paden City Wildcats placed sixth in the tournament. Levi Meadows had the lowest score with a 107, while Dezirae Middleton concluded the 18-hole course with a 112 total. Jeremy Mercer scored a 116, while Travis Leonard ended the tournament with a 131.

In the OVAC Class-AAA championship, Buckeye Trail shot a 291 to beat Linsly by four strokes, while Magnolia won the tie-breaker over Fort Frye with a 334.
Tyler Consolidated finished in sixth place, while the River Pilots placed seventh in the nine-field tournament.
Blue Eagle standout Garrett Emch sank four birdies en route to a 71 that earned him a spot on the All-OVAC squad. Brett Brill shot an 87, while Jake Starkey and Brantley Hissom each finished the 18-hole course with an 88, while Brandley Fluharty turned in an 89. Brill and Fluharty each sank a birdie.
For Tyler, Corey Wells shot the lowest score with a 79, while Jason Miller paced the Pilots. Other River golfers scoring were Brandon Smith, 91; Blaze Amos, 91 and Cody Witt with a 115.

In a quad match at the Sistersville Country Club, Magnolia came in second with a 165, with Fluharty having the lowest Magnolia score, a 40. Emch and Hissom each recorded a 41. Starkey shot a 43, while Brill tallied a 49 and Derek Blaine and Matthew Durig each completed the nine-hole event in 55 strokes.
In the same competition, Corey Wells paced the Tyler Consolidated Silver Knights with a 38, while Meadows paced the Wildcats with a 52. Middleton followed with a 60, while Mercer added a 61 and Leonard finished with a 63 for the ‘Cats.
