Dave Hull won the inaugural week of the 35th annual Match Play with a 216-180 victory over Dave Johnson. The victory was worth $50 compliments of this week’s sponsor Wetzel Valley Agencies.

Ron O’Neil Jr, was the two-game hi-qualifier with games of 233-228 and a eight handicap for a 469.

Hull blasted Bill Pritsch, 270-189 in one semi-final, while Johnson eliminated Joe Scherer, 210-157 in the other semi.

Miller Lite, Capital Beverage, and Buddy Light Accounting once again sponsor the Grand Finale and Point List.

The next two weeks will also be held on Saturdays at 5 p.m. with Match Play moving back to its traditional Thursday slot Oct. 4 at 9:30 p.m.
