The New Martinsville Parks and Recreation Commission is offering a youth soccer league, open to boys and girls ages five to 10. The season begins Sunday, Sept. 16, and continues each Sunday through Oct. 21.

The time for the 5- 7 year olds is 2 – 3 p.m. and the time for the 8-10 year olds is 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. During the first half hour there will be practice and in the second half hour there will be a game each week. Children must be five before Dec. 31, 2012, to participate.

Applications are available at the NM City Building. The cost is $20 per child or $30 per family until Sept. 7, before 4:30 p.m. After that date and time, the cost increases by $10.
