The hard work by many of our hometown residents in constructing a press box at the Magnolia Blue Eagle Alumni Field was destroyed over the weekend. The major storm hit not only Wetzel County, but most of the area from Charleston to Wheeling and causing destruction everywhere.

In addition to the press box, several light poles also were destroyed

Besides Magnolia, Paden City High School’s Beger Field also had lights bent in the destruction of the severe storm that rocked Wetzel County.
