Magnolia’s Michael Jones, a four-year starter and soccer letterman, was selected as the West Virginia defensive player of the game at the West Virginia/Ohio OVAC All-Star games Sunday, May 6, at Saint Clairsville.

Jones also had two assists on West Virginia’s five goals. The game ended in a 5-5 ties. Jones is one of 13 boys chosen to represent the state.
