Chet Richmond Wins Third Weekly Match Play Event

Chet Richmond won for the fourth time this year in the weekly match play championship with a 209-201 verdict over Mike Hall Sr. Richmond won $75, compliments of weekly sponsor RD Wilson Bros.

Bull Marling was the two-game high qualifier with games of 278, 179 and a 22 pin handicap for a 479 total.

Richmond eliminated Kevin Lude 194-177 in one semifinal, while Hall slipped by Lil Miller 212-206 in the other semifinal. Miller Lite and Buddy Light Accounting tournament sponsors guarantee the grand finale top prize of $1,000. The top 24 bowlers on the point list qualify for the 34th annual match play final, with the top eight bowlers each earning a first round bye.

Richmond continues to lead the point list with 580 points, while Chuckie Fisherkeller is second with 470 points. Lil Miller completes the top three bowlers with 440 points.
