Magnolia’s Jared Wright and Tyler Baker won their respective 182-pound and 285-pound weight divisions to help claim third place in the River Wrestling Tournament Jan. 28 at River High School.

Also helping the Eagles were Gage Deem’s third-place victory in the 152-pound fall; and fourth-place finishes by Joey Kelly in the 138-pound class and Jacob Rabel in the 170 pound division. River finished fourth and Tyler

Consolidated came in fifth in the eight-team tournament.

River Pilots earning awards included Devin Talbott, first place; Josh Stewart and J.D. Dotson, second place; Kole Smith, Hank Goble, and Brandon Reusser, third place; and Matt Alleman and Skylar Wohnhas, fourth place.

Belpre and Barnesville placed first and second, respectively, ahead of Magnolia.
