Tournament On Tap

Indian Creek Southern Baptist Church will host the second annual Randy Slider Memorial 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament on Feb. 4 at the Stealey Green Center.

The first game will start at 9 a.m., with single elimination play. Each team will consist of three or four players ages 16 and up. The bracket is limited to the first 32 teams. The entry fee is $5 per player and the deadline to sign-up and pay is Jan. 28.

The winning team will receive four tickets for the WVU vs. Marquette basketball game on Feb. 24. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the ICSBC Youth. For more information, contact Beth Henderson at 304-337-4244 or eamb8@hotmail.com.

JMHS Hosting Middle School

Basketball Tournament

The John Marshall Girls Basketball Boosters and the WV Lady Rebels will be hosting a tournament for middle school girls (Grades 6, 7 and 8) on March 17-18. Games will be played at John Marshall High School and John Marshall Field House.

Entry fee is $150 with a three game guarantee. All teams welcome (school, all-star, club, etc).
