Lady Pilots Crushed, 54-26 By Seminoles In Opener
The Lady Pilots kicked off the Ohio girls’ basketball season Nov. 26 against county rival Monroe Central at RL Potts Gymnasium in Hannibal.
The Lady Seminoles raced out to a 14-5 lead and never looked back in handing the Lady Pilots a 54-26 verdict. Landyn Ramsey paced the Pilots with a team-high seven points, including one basket from beyond the arch. Cassidy McCullough followed with four points, while Laken Ramsey, Emily Dierkes, Emile Weaver, and Gabby Goudy each netted three points.
In addition, Leslie Young scored a basket, while teammate Lexy Wells swished a charity toss.
The Lady Pilots will take on Caldwell, Dec. 2 in Redskin territory with the junior varsity game set to tip off at 5:30 p.m. River will host Frontier Dec. 3 with tip off scheduled for 6 p.m.
