It was all over in the first quarter, as the visiting Cameron Dragons scored 33 points en route to a 46-8 victory over the Hundred Hornets, Oct. 7, on the Hornet homecoming night.

Hundred Freshman Brandon Armstrong came in relief of injured Dylan Murphy and paced the Hornet offense with 13 yards passing and 20 yards rushing, while hauling down a team-high seven tackles.

Mhar Olayan chipped in with 10 yards rushing and 12 yards receiving, while Murphy, Thomas Preston, and Chris Varner, added 10 yards rushing. Hundred’s Preston and newly crowned Homecoming King Tyler Opyoke hauled in a pass each.

Armstrong also scored the Hornets’ only touchdown of the night, in the fourth quarter, off an impressive 80-yard 14-play drive. He also ran in the two-point conversion.

The Hornets will try to get their first victory of the season against Hancock, Friday, Oct. 14, in Maryland at 7:30 p.m.
