Eddie McKay Named Special Teams Player Of The Week

Glenville State’s Eddie McKay was named the W.V.I.A.C. Special Teams Player of the Week on Sept. 17 after connecting on three field goals in a win at Fairmont State. McKay made three-point tries from 30, 26 and 25 yards out, respectively. His field goal in the closing seconds helped the Pioneers force overtime.

McKay is the starting placekicker for Glenville and is the team’s leading scorer with 27 points, including 12-13 PAT. He is the great nephew of MHS teacher Eileen Miller. He is named after Miller’s grandfather, dad, brother and nephew, Owen Edward McKay V.
