Fisherkeller Wins Match Play Event

Katie Fisherkeller defeated John Miller 245-234 to win her first career match play event in week two of the 34th Annual Ohio Valley Match Play.

Jeff Germann led the two-game qualifying with 247-300 for 547. The 300 rolled by Germann was the first of the year and was the 28th in Match play history.

Fisherkeller won $75, compliments of weekly sponsor Ace Mitchell’s Bowlers Mart of Akron, Ohio. Fisherkeller defeated Dave Johnson 230-184 in one semi final, while Miller ousted Sean Sawyers 189-166 in the other semi final match.

Miller Lite and Buddy Light Accounting once again are tournament sponsors, guaranteeing the Grand Finale top prize of $1,000. The top 24 on the Point List qualify for the finale, with the top eight each earning a first-round bye. For further information check out ww.brucelanes.com.
