Soccer Camp Has English Flavor

Pictured above is Nick Reed from England and a resident of Maryland with a group of area kids that attended his soccer camp at Magnolia High School Jan. 16-19.
Reed put on this camp to help promote the game and to teach the proper fundamentals.
This four day camp cost only $10 and the campers received outstanding fundamental soccer coaching, as well as a lunch on Saturday. Fourteen campers took advantage of his coaching abilities to further enrich their soccer skills.
Reed works with West Virginia’s Burlington United Methodist Family Services, a church-related charitable human services organization whose vision is to be a Christian-centered resource that creates enriching values for youth and families through positive experiences within a supportive environment. Sharing Burlington’s Christian Mission is to bring growth and wholeness to family life.
This is accomplished by providing a variety of caring and supportive residential and community based services to youth and families like the one Reed is a part of.
