Farmers’ Market Marks Anniversary

By Staff | Aug 28, 2013

The Wetzel County Farmers’ Market will celebrate its one year anniversary Thursday with fun and festivities for the whole family.

The market will be open at its usual time, 4-7 p.m., Aug. 29, but in conjunction with the usual unique array of goods sold by the area’s finest vendors, there will also be complimentary cake, music, paints, balloons, and bubbles available to market-goers young and old.

The market prides itself on always being open, rain or shine, and having a wide variety of items available-from produce, to breads and baked goods, to soaps-thanks to its vendors who make up the market.

Whether you are perusing for a fresh flower arrangement or biggest tomato, or if you are just longing for an evening of fun with the community, check out the market this Thursday, 4-7 p.m., at Bruce Park.
