ROANOKE, W.Va. (AP) — "America's Got Talent" winner and West Virginia native Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. getting ready to perform at Stonewall Resort and sign copies of his new memoir.
The Logan native won the NBC talent show and a $1 million prize in 2011.
Terra Alta-based Headline Books Inc. says Murphy is set to perform on Friday night and sign books after the concert. He'll also sign books at the resort on Saturday, as well as later in the day in Charleston.
Other signings are planned for Sunday in Logan, Nov. 7 in Logan and Nov. 8 in Morgantown.
When first announcing the book, the jazz singer said that while he's not a saint, he hopes the book will inspire readers to "dream big and never give up."
