From Joseph Morris
To the Editor,
A little food for thought.
Where is the buffet?
I think in this letter I will just ask some questions of the readers to check out for themselves.
Let’s start out with the dollar bill. It used to have on it that it was backed by silver on demand. All now on it is that it is a federal reserve note, not a treasury note. It says this note is legal tender for all debts, public and private. If it is not backed by either silver or gold, is it worth no more than the paper it is printed on.
Here is one to think about! When filling out a legal document, it is usually asked if you are a U.S. citizen, not are you a citizen of the USA. The U.S. is a corporation, not a country. Look at the Act of 1871. This is one you need to check out. What is the corporation of the U.S. and what does the corporation of the U.S. consist of? I will bet they never taught you this in public school.
One last think to check out and think about is this: In the world there are only two laws. The law of the water and the law of the land. Each has its own flag and it will tell you if you are being tried under the law of the land or the law of the water. There is a difference. One you are innocent until proven guilty, and the the other one you are guilty until proven innocent.
Well, this old malcontent will sign off now and hope I left you something to think about, if you were unaware of any of the subjects.
Later,
Joseph J. Morris
