Dear Editor,

The Paden City Park and Pool Commission would like to thank all the people that came to our “Music in the Park” this year. We appreciate each and every one of you. You help make our music a success.

I know the weather did not work with us, but we always have the people that look forward to our music. Thank you and God bless each of you.

We also want to thank the bands. There is a lot of wonderful talent in the area. We are proud to have this talent in the area. Thank all of you.

The bands that performed were as follows: Common Ground, Pete Lauderman, The Remedy, Ron Retzer Trio, The Carriers, Barbara Lynn and The Silver Eagle Band, Ben Tharp, and The Elsons.

The two bands that did not get to play – because of the rain – were Rick Tincher and Friends, and Shady Creek.

The park belongs to everyone, and we want everyone to enjoy whatever we have at the park. The bands always tell us that they like performing at our park. We have a variety of music. Like I said before, we have a lot good talent in our area, and this gives them a chance to show their talents.

We appreciate all of you and the people that support us. God Bless each of you. Our World is changing everyday, and we need to support eachother.

Thank You and God Bless,

Thomas E. Trader Sr. and The Paden City Park and Pool Commission

Dear Editor,

The Paden City Park and Pool Commission would like to thank all the businesses and individuals that donated to our “Music in the Park.” The weather worked against us a lot this year, but we still had a lot of our bands. The music was very good. We appreciate all the businesses that donated and the individuals that helped in a lot of ways. Thank you for everything. New Martinsville area businesses that contributed were J.C. Mensore Distribution, Bayer Heritage Credit Union, McDonalds, Bill Forbes, Witscheys, J&T Excavating, and Wetzel Valley Agencies, and Wal-Mart; Paden City area businesses that contributed were Precision Contracting, Auto Related, Quality Aluminum, Marble King, Myers Car Lot, Wissmach Glass, and Wesbanco. Sistersville businesses that contributed were Wable Ford and Bell Chevrolet.

Individuals that donated were as follows: Tammy Bowers and Scott Bowers.

We want to thank the Pepsi Company (Troy) in Moundsville for donation of our pop and water, and we would like to thank Tammy Parsons for making the hot dog sauce. We would also like to thank Amanda Trader for making our advertisement flyer for the bands.

We want to thank the fire department for letting us use their approved kitchen.

We appreciate each and every one of those who contributed. Also, thanks go out to Cheri and Richard Johnson for making the popcorn.

We apologize if we have forgotten anyone. Thanks again, and our appreciation goes out to all of you.

When you go to any of these businesses, please thank them.

Thank You, and God Bless
