To The Editor,

The last week of July was very difficult for so many members of our community who dealt with flooding in Wetzel County. I had the opportunity to speak with a number of people in Hundred and Pine Grove, who have been behind the scenes working tirelessly to help their community impacted by flooding. They are dedicated. They are self-sacrificing and they care deeply about their community. In the midst of disaster I was in awe of the out pour of support and supplies for those in need when I walked into Hundred High School, but especially touched when I saw so many students. There are many people who have given so generously of their time and energy, but I would be remiss if I did not mention Principal-Beth Sigley and her faculty and students who were diligently loading supplies for those effected by this flooding. You all have my sincerest gratitude for the work you have done in our community. You have once again proven that West Virginians are resilient and giving. Thank you.

Sincerely,

David B McKinley, P.E.
