Dear Editor,

The Paden City Park and Pool Commission would like to thank everyone that participated in the Paden City Haunted Trail on Monday, Oct. 24.

We had 561 kids walk through our trail. It is a very safe way for the children to get their candy and trick-or-treat.

We had 18 stations: New Martinsville: WCEMS, EZ Care, Progressive bank, Bayer Credit Union, Burger King. Paden City: P.C. Lions Club, Dominos, Wildcat Den, P.C. Library, Nazarene Church, Church of God, Garden Club, Eagles, Legion Auxiliary, Tasty Freeze, Christian Church, and Paden City Fire Department, as well as Lions Club of Friendly.

We would like to thank all the businesses that donated: Myers Car Lot, Susie’s Craft, Kelvin Feathers, McDonalds, Brenda Botizan, CPA, Wetzel County Hospital for the bags, Witscheys, and Wal-Mart.

I also want to thank Josh Billiter, Sherri Johnson, and Tammy Parson for selling hot chocolate and coffee. Roxanne and Ginger for selling tickets. Aunia for helping me walk the trail for two hours to make sure everything was okay.

Tim Bidwell for making our flyers to give out. Sharp’s in New Martinsville for making and donating our tickets.

Last but surely not least, we want to thank Lisa and Willy White for donating their time for the horse and wagon rides at the end of the trail. They worked very hard and never stopped.

The kids had a great time and everything went smooth. If I have forgotten anyone, please forgive me and know that we appreciate everyone that helps and supports us.

The children, parents, businesses make the haunted trail a success it is.

We need to support our towns’ activities and the towns around us.

We hope to see everyone next year.

Again, thank you to everyone and God Bless each and everyone.

God Bless

Thank You

The Paden City Park and Pool Commission
